Drink review: Fat Man Running (And the recipe)

Hello everybody
I consumed alot of alcohol yesterday and decided to make a Fat Man Running as promised in the last post.

The Impression:
I got to much rum in the first drink so it tasted way much of rum, sadly
Altho i think i got the 2nd right, it had a good, pretty neutral taste with a twist of lime (Mmm… lime) and the ginger ale didn’t get drowned in some of the stronger tastes (like the rum)
But it tasted like some kinda soft drink thing -.-
Its a very colorful drink and a nice starter, since it aint that strong

The Recipe:
This is how i made it, there’s probably a better one out there.

What you need:
Curaqua ( can’t spell it properly, the q is actually a c with a dot beneath it)
Dark Rum
A lime
Ginger Ale

How to make it:

• Take the lime and make that sweet sweet bitter lime juice thing go down your glass, you need to fill 5% of the glass with this, which usually is like… half a lime… else you need to buy some proper drink containers.
• Now take the Curatqua thing and pour an amount equal to the lime juice already in the glass
• Now take your rum, drink a tad of it
• Now you want to fill 20% of the glass with rum (or i would want to do that)
• Then you fill up with ginger ale
• Now your fat man should be green with a twist of blue, and ready to run
• Now take a spoon ( i used a knife) and stir it (staring at it helps too)
• Enjoy! (until someone falls into you and you spill the whole drink on the cute girl you have been trying to charm the whole night)

The stars:(Stars are subject to change and will try/succeed to steal your soul within near future)
it is a good drink but tastes a bit too sugarish and sweet for me to really enjoy it i will give it:

Three stars!
(Because it was too sweet and tried to drown me, twice!)
And why do i have a headache? -.-

Another drink review: Sparkling gold

Hello guys, today im gonna review the drink called sparkling gold.
Why do all good drinks have to have a lame name?

Anyways, this will be a short post

I think this is one of the stronger drinks (about 20% alcohol)

But it tastes abselutely wonderful. This is one of those drinks you just have to try!
I cant remember how it tastes, since i was drunk and its like… long time ago
Anyways.

What you need:
Golden rum
Cointreau
Champagne (Make sure this stuff is cold)

How to make it:

1. Take your rum
2. act like a pirate
3. Fill 20% of the glass with rum
4. Take the cointreau, fill 10% of the glass up with this
5. Fill 70% up with champagne
6. Drink
7. Act like a pirate
8. Steal the key to the toilet (this part is important)
9. Drink some more.
10. give me response

Unbelievably awesome

Last night I went to see five metal bands perform live at the Present Aarhus Festival in heart of our home city. I’ve been to death metal shows roughly this size before, but this was unlike anything I have ever experienced. Ever. My friend and I managed to get way up to the stage, right in the center of the pit, and held our ground there for the entire set of shows, Pariah Syndicate, Oktan, Scamp, Exmortem and Hatesphere. 

I managed to get a few pictures to show here later, but for the most part I was completely absorbed in five hours of thrashing, drinking, headbanging, and roaring along with everyone else there. The bands were incredible, particularly Scamp (the lead vocalist, Mikael Rise, poured a gasoline-tank full of whisky on our heads) and Hatesphere (who had the entire pit thrashing insanely their entire set). We went there not knowing exactly what to expect, and staggered out of pure, metal awesome about five hours later.

All in all it was just f***ing amazing. Especially since this was on a goddamn thursday. Friday morning with three hours of sleep, several bruises and a hangover is kinda brutal, though.

(Sorry about long post and lack of pictures, I’ll post some another day.)

Hello, and im the new guy that have (or haven’t) been messing this blog up lately.
Oh and sorry for the long post?

And i would just like to inform whoever is watching this blog, that i will be writing alot of wierd stuff…

I would also review some drinks that i’ve been making, and explain how to make em, so you (the reader) can make em yourself

And i would like some more pictures of the times where you guys look silly  (don’t post any where i look retarded, plox  )

To start out ill make a drink review:
I found this drink from some book i bought the other day ( Hannibals birthday) And we decided to make it since it was kinda cheap and easy to make

Name: Black Velvet

What do i need to make it:
You need some champagne (or any wine that has the funny champagne opening, cant remember what its called)
And some Stout or guinness (i think its spelled like that)
You need the same amount of each ( if you take half a liter beer, you need half a liter champagne)

How to make it:
You take the champagne (or any wine that has the funny champagne opening, cant remember what its called) and fill it in a bottle (or something like that) which is large enough to contain the amount of champagne you decide to have AND the same amount of beer (If you want to use half a liter champagne on this drink, you need a bottle (or something like a bottle) which can contain a liter liquid

Then you take the beer and fill the same amount in the bottle thingy

And there you have it: Black Velvet!

Oh and wash the bottle thing before you make a new portion… Else things will turn ugly. Seriously.

The review: I Think black velvet is an excellent drink for when you dont want to get that drink, since it is like 8% alcohol or something like that and it tastes wonderful
Five stars out of six (and i need some flashy star thingy for this)

Back and smashed.

Flew back from Chicago yesterday, after an awesome time stateside. Took the trip on my own and spent ten days with some friends. It was great, especially going to a short Cavalera Conspiracy concert, which (almost) made up for missing Metaltown in june. The trip back took forever though, haven’t slept in nearly 30 hours and I’m battered.

Now I have the house to myself for the next two or three weeks, looking forward to trashing it with friends, getting some drawing done, and turning my amp volume way up without complaints. Might upload some more pictures from the trip another time. Good to hear from you guys again

I just stumbled opun this awesome collection of sound clips on Wikipedia. showing different aspects of the universe of sound. it makes you wonder what impact sound has had to the history and different cultures around the world. just a little thinker.

Looks like I’m going to miss the Metaltown festival this year…

I had a blast there last summer and I was hoping to go with some others this year, but unfortunately I don’t have enough money for the trip to Göteborg. 

Anyway, if you like any kind of metal and live in Scandinavia, I encourage you to go.

The usual suspects drink of fail!

Recently, we were at a party and Hannibal made me this drink, which i by the way think you all should try. All credits for this drink you can send to Hannibal.
Now, the drink don’t smell very good (not good at all)… but…. no it don’t taste very well either.
Anyway here’s the recipe:

Half the glass you fill with gin.

Then 1/3 of the glass with any kind of soda (we used coke).

Then you fill the last part with vodka.

And voila that’s the usual suspects drink of fail.
